LETTING GO OF LOSS AND GRIEF THROUGH WRITING

January 7, 2017 10 am - 6:30 pm
An intimate one day immersion in self-inquiry in Manhattan, NY

"Without the work I did with Olga I don't think I could have found my way out of the overwhelming feelings of grief and fear I experienced when my husband became ill and passed. His death, though intensely challenging, has continued to be a kind of a birth for me, an opportunity to move beyond oppressive fearful concepts and beliefs that seemed to overwhelm and own me. The turnarounds became my freedom. I'd never even imagined that I could find this much relief before I began doing The Work. The Work has given me a practical way to live more kindly, more fully, with an open, curious heart."

Alexandra Vassilaros, playwright
Who is this workshop for?
Anyone who is longing for freedom and peace.

If you have experienced The Work of Byron Katie, you know the absolute magic of this process. In this workshop, you will work on applying it to the experiences of grief and loss in your life. This could apply to a person, relationship, place or anything that stirs these feelings in your heart. You will gain concrete practical skills enabling you to apply inquiry in your life. You will be further supported by a variety of writing exercises.

Deep diving...

In this nurturing and gentle environment you will be able to identify the roots of numbing beliefs around grief and loss that are otherwise difficult to access.

We will use inquiry as the foundation of this course. Combined with writing exercises, we will facilitate a deep exploration of the concepts that create resistance and cause us to suffer.

"I am a lover of what is, not because I'm a spiritual person, but because it hurts when I argue with reality. We can know that reality is good just as it is, because when we argue with it, we experience tension and frustration. We don't feel natural or balanced. When we stop opposing reality, action becomes simple, fluid, kind, and fearless."
Byron Katie
