Ingrid Elanor Berg, Actor

Ingrid is a most extraordinary and promising young actor. She possesses a wonderful vulnerability and inner strength. She is highly intelligent and a great listener and observer. She has a superior work ethic and a wonderful sense of humor too. As an improviser, Ingrid has a whimsical and daring sensibility, one that leads her down unfathomable roads of invention and creativity. It is one of her great strengths as a performer.
The thing I love most about Ingrid as an actor is that she marinates on ideas and notes. She doesn't say 'yes' until she completely understands what is being asked of her. This sets Ingrid apart from a lot of actors her age (or of any age).
So often in my experience with young actors, I find they are quick to say 'yes'- before they really understand what is being asked of them. They fear being wrong or looking stupid or are so eager to please that they stop thinking. This is not how Ingrid ticks. She's confident enough to kick the tires of an idea first, before making a move and committing herself to something she doesn't believe. This is my kind of actor.
